Menasha Packaging Hosts 10th Annual Menasters Golf Outing to Benefit Five Local Charities

Menasha Packaging Company, North America’s largest independent provider of packaging and supply chain service solutions, hosted its 10th annual Menasters Golf Outing, raising over $550,000 for five local charities that continue meeting the needs of the community, placing its 10-year total over $2 million. The event, which featured more than 200 customers, suppliers and partners, was held at Thornberry Creek at Oneida, the official golf course of the Green Bay Packers, earlier this month.  

“We’re so proud of the impact we’re having on the community through our Menasters Golf Outing  and to see it grow to what it is today is truly remarkable,” said Menasha Packaging Company President Mike Riegsecker. “I see Menasha and its partners continuing to be a big part of helping our communities thrive in areas of need. To support these impactful charities, together, we continue to make it happen. The possibilities are unlimited.”  

Local charities honored 
Here are the local charities honored at the Menasters Golf Outing and how they meet the needs of their respective communities.  

• Catalpa Health Mental Health & Wellness for Kids – 7,806 clients served for mental health issues, 57,912 appointments across all service lines and 67 same or next day urgent clinic appointments, 

• United Way Fox Cities – 1,057,625 diapers distributed, 13,677 calls responded to at 211 call center and $6.3 million in total community investment. 

• Pillars Adult & Family Shelter – Helped more than 1,800 people navigate and access housing resources; provided safe emergency housing shelters for 850 people and 123 affordable housing units housing 300 people.  

• Fox Valley Veterans Council – $203,000 in direct financial assistance to veterans;  519 veterans assisted in various ways and 126 dental services paid for.  

• St. Joseph Food Program – 3,579,359 pounds of food distributed, 33,840 pantry visits and 12,844 lives impacted through pantry, outreach and backpack services.
