Foundation
The Menasha Corporation Foundation serves as the principal instrument of philanthropy for Menasha Corporation. The company has supported worthy community projects and organizations through monetary donations and volunteerism since its founding in 1849.
Menasha Corporation’s founder, Elisha D. Smith, was a visionary and philanthropist who supported benevolent endeavors and educational institutions that reached far beyond the company’s hometown of Menasha, Wisconsin. In 1953, Menasha Corporation’s philanthropic efforts were organized into a formal Foundation. The Corporation serves as the primary source of funding for the Foundation.
The goodwill from the investments the Foundation makes in communities contributes to the loyalty of employees and enhances our ability to recruit high-quality employees. Menasha Corporation’s service to society is further evidenced by providing high-quality products and services in a safe and environmentally responsible manner, which supports solid returns for shareholders and secure jobs for our employees. It is a circle of value and contribution that has served society well for more than 150 years and is an extension of our philosophy of giving and caring.
