Menasha Corporation Foundation Announces Funding for Local Organizations

The Menasha Corporation Foundation today announced the following donations to Fox Cities-area organizations:

• $10,000 to the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in support of its 2007/08 education series for students in pre-kindergarten through high school;
• $10,000 to CAP Services to fund training programs that enable low-income individuals to attain the skills, knowledge and aptitude necessary to become self-sufficient;
• $5,000 to Habitat for Humanity for funding of "Green Built" homes; and
• Seven additional donations of smaller amounts, totaling more than $20,000, to various organizations.

"The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center's educational series allows thousands of students to experience enriching artistic performances that can start a life-long appreciation of various art forms. We are proud to be an educational series sponsor," said Ralph L. Evans, Foundation president. "In continuing its funding for CAP Services, the Menasha Corporation Foundation recognizes the valuable services this organization provides to individuals who need help to compete for higher paying jobs -- CAP Services has an excellent record of helping its clients achieve income growth and additional benefits."

The Foundation re-aligned its funding categories earlier this year in support of its Philanthropic Vision and currently focuses giving in four areas: safe and healthy citizens, an educated society, community betterment and environmental sustainability.
